About CWDT
CWD Today is an organization committed to spreading awareness about the growing concern of Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD), a deadly prion disease, in cervid populations and its implications on human health. While there is currently no evidence of this disease being transmitted from deer to humans, the zoonotic potential remains under investigation in laboratories across the nation.

The first steps to minimizing the impact of Chronic Wasting Disease is to spread awareness about this emerging risk and to advocate for CWD testing, both of which are cornerstone goals of CWD Today.
